Academics, I would say is one of the foundations of life. My education means so much to me. Even though people say that our middle school grades don't matter, I am proud to say I made it through middle school with straight A’s. Now that I am going to be a freshman this coming school year I feel like I have a good head on my shoulders and I can graduate with at least a 4.0 GPA. I am not sure of what I want to pursue when I graduate, but all I know is “go big or go home”. I at least want to get a masters degree in what ever my passion is at the time, but eventually make my way up to getting a doctorate. I know that will take at least eight to ten years in college, but that’s my dream in life. Great success doesn't come easily and I am willing to do what it takes. All I know is music is key and music will be with me for the rest of my life in any career path I choose.
Without a refreshed and reenergized mind to focus, how would we get anything done? I love longboard skateboarding , because I love the feel of rolling down hills at speeds of 15-20 miles per hour. During my free time I of course love longboarding, but I also love the freedom of running. I have done two 5ks and a relay triathlon. I always feel fulfilled after I get my exercise in. As time went by I became more focused on longboarding and running became secondary. Running is a big achievement though because I have asthma and before I could only run an eighth of a mile and start gagging, but I have conquered that. Throughout my childhood I was exposed to swimming, tennis, ballet ,gymnastics, tap dancing, and hip hop, and after all of that I finally realized I’m not very good at all at sport related things. Music is my passion.
To conclude, my music, education, and health are my primaries in life. If I embrace my music, conquer my education, and examine my physical education /health I will have a good grasp at achieving my goals in life.
