Project Reflection Through learning the Iliad and reading the Allegory of the Cave I have learned a lot about Greek hero's. But I would have to say I am very proud of the interview I had with my personal hero, because I got to talk to her after so many years and it was a very sweet experience. We had the interview, but then we ended up talking for a couple more hours which was very special. She just had a stroke so the last time I saw her she was in a hospital bed unable to move so that moment was a big restraints.
I felt as if I grew in time management, because I was finished with my Zine a day early which normally doesn't happen, but at the same time I had to really hustle towards the end, because I had grammar mistakes which really tested my time management, because I had to really focused in the time provided.Time management is really important for me, because with juggling school, music, and other social events i'm apart of my life can get hectic. That's why I want to make that more of a focus this next semester. My stretches would have to be grammar and proofreading, because the one thing that made me fall behind was that I rushed through some sections of my zine and I ended up having to print all my zines again, because of spelling mistakes which really stressed me out.I want to make it a goal for myself to not have to rely all the time on other people to proofread my work, because I would just get lazy and not do it myself. Over all I really want to improve on being more independent, because its nice to get critiques and help, but If can become more independent I feel as if that will build me up for the future years where help will be limited. for example I asked someone to look through my zine for spelling mistakes, and she looks up and asks if I had already grammar checked my spelling and I said no. So I want to be more independent and less reliant on others.
